The Hispanic Community faces a number of challenges in accessing healthcare. Hispanic adults are less likely than other Americans to have health insurance and to receive preventative medical care. Healthcare disparties including language and cultural barriers, racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic factors further contribute to disparate health outcomes.
Join us to discuss strategies and tools to address critical health issues impacting the Hispanic Community, promote a culture of inclusion and diversity, and mitigate the structural barriers that lead to health disparities.
Led by a multidisciplinary panel of medical experts and educators, we aim to engage healthcare providers in community, primary care, and hospital-based settings to increase their skills to provide culturally and linguistically responsive care to the Hispanic Community.
