In 2023, a staggering number of Americans aged 12 and older – 167.2 million people, or 59% – reported using tobacco products, vaping nicotine, consuming alcohol, or using illicit drugs within the past month. This includes 134.7 million individuals who drank alcohol, 49.9 million who used tobacco products, 30.5 million who vaped nicotine, and 52.7 million who used illicit drugs.

To effectively manage and support individuals with substance use disorders, healthcare providers must stay informed. Join our ECHO series led by medical experts and psychiatrists from the esteemed New Jersey Medical School and Rowan Medicine. Our series offers a safe space for peer-to-peer learning and open dialogue, providing up-to-date best practices, current research, and new trends in this field.

Through our sessions, you will gain valuable insights into screening and management of substance use disorders in primary care, integrating treatment options, and creating a stigma-free environment for your patients. By equipping yourself with the knowledge and tools offered in our series, you can make a significant difference in the lives of individuals with substance use disorders.
