The ARISE ECHO Program provides education and strategies to advanced practice providers and community-based organizations to expand access to reproductive health and abortion care services across New Jersey. The goal of the ARISE ECHO is to foster a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach, promoting evidence-based practices, and addressing the complex aspects of reproductive health and abortion care through interactive and inclusive ECHO sessions. The ARISE ECHO aims to close the educational gap that exists in sexual and reproductive health education and abortion training.
The Student Health Services Discussion Groups (Fridays from 12:30-1:30 PM) engage student health services staff across the state to provide reproductive health education. The discussions are focused on student health services staff to provide an opportunity for them to interact with experts and work with their peers to address challenges that exist in their field.
All advanced practice clinicians (midwives, nurse practitioners and PAs), physicians, nursing, pharmacy, and social work providers involved in obstetrics gynecology, family medicine, and sexual and reproductive health services, as well as student health services staff are encouraged to attend all sessions.
You will meet the Series Leaders during the sessions.
After participating in this ECHO, providers and caregivers will be able to:
