The CHW workforce is diverse, growing, and drawing attention to its ability to address determinants of poor health. As trusted advocates, educators and counselors embedded in their communities, CHWs facilitate culturally competent service delivery. Tapping into this workforce can strengthen the response to COVID-19 and address longstanding inequities.1

Whether you are a CHW seeking continuing education or part of the Colette Lamothe-Galette Community Healthcare Worker Institute (CLG-CHWI), or someone seeking a career change to become a CHW, you are welcome to attend this peer-led education and training series. It is designed to equip you with the information and tools you need to improve the overall health of New Jersey communities. All community health workers and front-line providers are welcome to join the series.

Join a panel of experts in a collaborative series to learn more about Vaccine Hesitancy, Addressing COVID-19, Social Determinats of Health, and New Jersey Public Health Priorities.

Attend eight (8) of the twelve (12) sessions and complete a pre and post-series survey to receive a certificate of completion.
